1.5 cups of dried beans
8 cups of water
1 tsp salt
1. Clean any debris that may be in the beans and rinse with cold water.
2. Add beans and water to medium pot and bring to a boil, boil 5 minutes.
3. Lower heat to medium-low, cover the pot and cook until soft and creamy, about 2 hours.
4. Add 1 tsp salt.
