Chimichurri Sauce Recipe

Chimichurri is a lively South American sauce bursting with fresh herbs, garlic, vinegar, and a hint of red pepper flakes. This versatile condiment enhances grilled meats, seafood, and vegetables, infusing each bite with invigorating flavors and a touch of acidity.

INGREDIENTS
  • ½ of a small jalapeño pepper
  • ½ cup firmly packed fresh parsley
  • ½ cup firmly packed fresh cilantro
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 medium onion
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes
  • 3 Tbsp white or rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice (2-3 limes)
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil (optional)
DIRECTIONS
  1. Chop all ingredients finely and mix to combine or grind in a food processor.

    Enjoy as a topping to almost any dish!
