2 Cups of Jasmine Rice or other long grain rice
2.5 Cups of water
1 tsp salt
2 Tbsp olive oil or butter
1. Rinse the rice, drain and set aside.
2. In a medium heavy bottom pot heat the oil over medium high heat. Add the rice and mix to coat stirring constantly for 1-2 minutes.
3. Add salt and water. Bring to a boil stirring frequently. Cover.
4. Lower the heat to medium low and cook for about 20-25 minutes or until rice is fully cooked. Fluff with a fork before serving. Serves 4.
