INGREDIENTS
- 4 tbsp butter or olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 (14.5 oz) cans chopped tomatoes with liquid
- 2 tbsp TRUFLAVOR SHRIMP SCAMPI SEASONINGS BLEND
Extra crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat) - 1 (16 oz) package linguine pasta
- 8 oz small shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 8 oz bay scallops
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
DIRECTIONS
- Sauté the Seafood
Heat butter or olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until golden. Add shrimp and scallops, season with Shrimp Scampi Blend and extra red pepper flakes if desired. Cook for about 2 minutes, until shrimp turns pink. Remove seafood from the pan and set aside. - Make the Sauce
Pour chopped tomatoes into the same pan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. - Cook the Pasta
Meanwhile, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. - Combine & Serve
Return shrimp and scallops to the tomato sauce. Stir in fresh parsley and let cook for 3-4 minutes, until the sauce starts to bubble.
PRO TIP: Love extra heat? Sprinkle more crushed red pepper before serving!
